Its an alright method for crafting on mains but there are plenty of low cost crafting alternatives that provide much better xp rates. So essentially ironmen have something where they can actually grind crafting without having to compete at charter ships and not have it be a byproduct of other skills like getting hides while gathering bones or have a daily limit like battlestaves. I almost always get over 27 and when actually paying attention ive had as much as 38 (over 2x which seems crazy but it happens) osrs Oldschool Runescape Ironman guide By OzirisRS Posted in osrs 65178 12:31 pm, DecemOldschool Runescape Ironman guide By OzirisRS Oldschool RunescapeIronman guideBy OzirisRSRe-formatting + images + details added by KruXoR Contents Introduction Pre-Text Starting Out Early quests, wintertodt and ardy cloak 1 (71) Lumbridge Lumbridge Swamp Thieving, fishing and mining (541) Fairy. I think the balance of super glassmaking 1.3 ratio was set assuming you could only do 13 seaweed and 13 sand because I always get WAY more than the expected 1.3 extra. You use superglass make with 3 giant seaweed and 18 sand and you’ll get a bunch of molten glass. Now we have giant seaweed which is 6 regular seaweed. It was ok passive xp getting seaweed from kraken and stuff and getting sand from bert daily. So each seaweed/sand gave 1.3 molten glass. Before, seaweed/soda ash would turn to molten glass at a ratio of 1:1.3. Giant seaweed is one of the easiest ways for ironmen to bank mass crafting xp.

Do your runs each run banks nearly 50k crafting xp. 180-200 initial spores to reach 99 crafting. Farming 100 spores banked ~2.45m crafting xp, with another 2m+ available if I continued farming until I ran out of spores.Īll this means that starting from 87 crafting, you only need to bank approx. With this number, at 80xp/glass, each seaweed is 700 crafting xp. The wiki says that you average 8.75 glass per seaweed (I think this number is actually higher, does someone have some testing?). This means that you only need to collect half of the spores needed to reach your xp goal and you'll passively pick up the rest as you farm them. It's very not worth it to pay for your patches unless you have a bunch of useless numulite. Paying the Farmer would cost 20,000 numulite or 600k. Used secateurs and Farming cape even though I'm pretty sure they do nothing. These are the default price for the item in the Grand Exchange and may not reflect what you will actually buy or sell for.
